Crazy Life….

Standard

A lot has happened around here in the last 6 weeks or so! Hubs found a job he liked, so we moved to a house we like, then he found another job he liked just as much, but even closer to our new house… it was a 40 mile round trip every day to the first job and not full time. His new job is a fast paced, fun restaurant in Downtown Ashland.

If your ever in Ashland Or., head over to Ruby’s on Pioneer St. for a great burrito, hamburger or other fast, but yummy sandwich! Hubs has brought me home a few burritos now, and even cold you can’t put them down!

Ashland is also home to the fantastic Shakespeare Festival and several other fun and exciting things to do, whether you are looking for theatre, camping, or a fun day at the lake and water slides! I enjoy just walking around and window shopping… I could do that for hours in Ashland! My favorite is the Paddington Station store! I am not allowed near there close to pay day…

We also celebrated the 4th of July and Putter’s 2nd birthday.

Mimi was as excited as the kids about the fireworks...Pyro dog!

Sister's enjoying the 4th Of July!

Putter’s new favorite word is purple… every thing is purple, even the bright green we painted our bedroom! So she got a new big girl bed, with purple Tinkerbell bedding…

Putter's and her big girl bed...it would be nice if she slept in it..

She had carrot cake cupcakes, with cherries from our backyard tree on top, or maybe it was the neighbor’s cherry tree… I don’t remember.  But they were good!!

Yum!

She got lots of presents… purple clothes, light up balls, doll strollers, a new Barbie from Grandma and Grandpa in California… and more…

Light up ball... enough said... :o)

Ready to stroll....

And we started up the rest of our school year… after an extra month off. So the past few weeks have been some hectic catch up time… but life has been good. Crazy but good….

Be Blessed..

About misadventuresofafamilyof8

I am a SAHM of 6 kids, and I homeschool, cloth diaper, wear my toddler, used to breastfeed, cook from scratch, not so crunchy mama. Hubs is a chef, and loves to cook. We go to church when we can, and I love to learn new things about how to be a better wife and mother.
