Back To School Week Of Reviews and Giveaways!
We all know that with the back to school days also come the back to the doctor days as our kids come in contact with more germs and ickies then they did the summer combined!! As they battle colds and flus and more, moms feel like every moment is spent wiping noses or attempting to get them to blow stuffy ones so that snuffling sound will stop…
Here is our help!!
Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens, often referred to as The Boogie Moms®, developed Boogie Wipes in 2007 as a solution for their kids’ runny, red noses. Months of market research led to the invention of the Boogie Wipe: a saline-infused wipe that soothes chapped, rough noses while dissolving mucus. After a six-month development and manufacturing process, Doney and Pickens shipped their first orders of Boogie Wipes in December, 2007. By the end of 2008, Boogie Wipes were available in 30,000 U.S. stores and sales had reached $1.2 million. Doney and Pickens 2009 sales tripled to hit just under $4 million.
I had heard about Boogie Wipes but had never actually used them before. I am so glad I tried them!
None of my kids have been sick, but I suffer from constant dust allergies. My nose is always red and sore from always blowing it. I love Boogie Wipes. Not only are they super soft, the saline seems to stop the run, clear my airways, and soothe my sore nose all at the same time! I no longer dread cold season because I am now armed for battle! These wipes now have a place of honor on my dresser top, which is quite an honor. Not much makes it to my dresser top. It is the one space in the house that is MINE and no one is allowed to mess with!
Boogie Wipes come in packages of 30 for about $3.99 and they are extra soft, alcohol, phthalate and paraben free. Boogies Wipes are available in Fresh Scent, Great Grape, Magic Menthol and Simply Unscented. The Fresh and Grape scents are also available in handy individually wrapped packs of 10, known as Boogies on the Run™ which are ideal for backpacks, lunchboxes or purses, and can be yours for about $2.99. I love these, they are small enough to stick in my jean pocket and take everywhere!
The Boogie Wipes family has grown to now include canisters with 90 wipes available at stores like Costco, and the new Saline Soothers – Goodbye to Dry! The first saline nose wipe for grown-ups! You can find them in the cough and cold aisle in Walgreens, Bartells and Duane Reade.
